Archaeologist turned fundraiser Lisa Hamilton Rhodes is summoned to a New Mexico dig site by her old professor and mentor, Dr. Jay Thompson. She learns of Thompson’s “find of a lifetime,” the intact remains of a Spanish Conquistador, a strange Mesoamerican warrior, and a mysterious stone tablet. The question is: why is Militia leader Marc Verner so interested in the dig? And what does the stone have to do with an ancient blue-eyed prophet that once walked the America’s preaching peace and brotherhood to all, promising one day to return? They become lasting friends and colleagues solving archaeological puzzles and facing danger together.
